PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Airlangga Hartarto, the Coordinator Minister of the Economy, officially inaugurated Dida Gardera as Deputy II for Food and Agribusiness Coordination, succeeding Musdhalifah Machmud.
Dida expressed his hopes for a successful execution of his responsibilities, stating, “I hope that the mandate will be executed smoothly, and may Allah SWT guide and protect me in carrying out my role as Deputy II for Food and Agribusiness Coordination at the Ministry of Economy,” as Palmoilmagazine.com quoted from Dida instagram on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.
Previously, Dida served as an expert staff member specializing in Connectivity, Service Development, and Natural Resources. In this role, he was responsible for providing recommendations on various strategic issues related to connectivity, service development, and natural resource management to the Coordinator Minister of the Economy.

Dida Gardera was born in Bandung on 1 October 1970. He got his undergraduate degree majoring Environment Engineering in Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), West Java. He continued his magister degree majoring MSc Social Policy and Planning in Developing Countries in London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), London, United Kingdom.
He once got education and trainings, for instance, Climate Reality Leadership Corps (2021), Indonesia-Australia MRV Experts Dialogue Canberra Australia (2013), Environmental Reporting (2004), and others.
Dida was as Assistant of Deputy Agro Pharmacy, and Tourism in Coordinator Ministry in Economy (2020 – 2022); Assistant Deputy in Environment Conservation in Coordinator Ministry in Economy (2017-2020); and other strategic positions since 2011-2017 in Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK).
Dida got Satyalancana Karya Satya X in 2013 and Satyalancana Karya Satya XX in 2016 for his loyalty to the country and his proficiency as government’s officer. (T2)
