CPO Prices at KPBN Inacom Increased 0,46 Percent on Monday (18/3), Likewise on Bursa Malaysia

PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) Inacom was Rp 13,120/kg on Monday (18/3/2024). This indicates an increase of Rp 60/kg or approximately 0.46% compared to the tender price on Friday (15/3/2024), which was Rp 13,060/kg.

According to information obtained by Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, the Franco price for CPO in Belawan and Dumai was Rp 13,120/kg.

At the Malaysia Derivative Exchange, CPO prices increased on Monday (18/3/2024) due to the significant rise in prices of other vegetable oils. However, smaller than predicted exports and higher production expectations restrained the upward movement of prices.

As reported by Reuters, the reference contract price for CPO with the code FCPOc3, scheduled for delivery in June 2024 at the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, rose by 0.55% to reach RM 4,243 per ton (equivalent to US$ 899.70) at midday. Although it experienced a 1.89% increase in the beginning session, it later saw a decrease.
