PALMOILMAGAZINE, JAKARTA – The tender price for Crude Palm Oil (CPO) at PT. Kharisma Pemasaran Bersama Nusantara (KPBN) rose to Rp 11,970/kg on Monday (19/2/2024), marking an increase of Rp 40/kg or approximately 0.34% compared to Friday’s tender of Rp 11,930/kg.
According to Palmoilmagazine.com from KPBN, CPO Franco prices in Belawan and Dumai were Rp 11,970/kg, while in Talang Duku it stood at Rp 11,770/kg. In Teluk Bayur, CPO was priced at Rp 11,840/kg.
In the Malaysia Derivatives Exchange, CPO prices experienced an uptick on Monday (19/2/2024) following two consecutive sessions of decline. This rebound was attributed to the recovery in soyoil prices and the depreciation of the Malaysian ringgit.
As quoted from Reuters, CPO reference contract price with the code FCPOc3 for May 2024 delivery at Malaysia Derivatives Exchange increased RM 54 per ton or about 1,42% to be RM 3.863 (US$ 807,48) per metric ton in the closing session. It booked the weekly decreasing that reached 1,93% on last Friday.
