Info SAWIT, JAKARTA Indonesia and Malaysia are ready to be in synergy to fulfill the crude palm oil (CPO) needs in China. Both countries are the biggest CPO producers in the world and would support China to implement the mixture of diesel and biodiesel up to 5 percent or B5, as the commitment to decrease carbon emission.

“We agree to support China to implement B5 so it could decrease the trade deficit with Indonesia and Malaysia and as the environmental energy,” Secretary of Industry, Indonesian Republic, Airlangga Hartarto said after meeting Secretary of Plantation and Commodity, Malaysia, Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong in Putrajaya, Malaysia.

Airlangga hoped, the usage of biodiesel in China would be the potential markets to increase palm oil product export from Indonesia and could be the chance for the stakeholders nationally to invest in building biodiesel factory.(T3)
