KUALA LUMPUR –Head of Quality Management and Sustainable Plantation Division,Sime Darby, Tang Men Kon explained that palm oil trees within 25 to 30 years of age will be replanted. In the replanting process, there will be lots of stalks, which are often said as chip and could be recyled as the fertilizer to maintain the soil fertility. The palm oil company targets to cut off the carbon emissions about 25% in 2016 and 40% in 2020.
