InfoSAWIT, JAKARTA –After Roundtable Meeting RSPO (RT) the 15th was held, there are some decisions through General Assemblythe 14th in Nusa Dua, Bali.
CEO RSPO, Datuk Darrel Webber said, his side realized that to create the real and long term changes, it needs to involve every side and start helping other countries to implement better and more sustainable palm oil cultivation. “We need to support the changes and should not hope that they who just join the journey in sustainable practice, should be clever in one night only,” he said in the official statement to InfoSAWIT, Monday (4/12/2017)
Meanwhile in the General Assembly the 14th of RSPO,there had been some decisions, such as, Resolusi GA14-6f: RSPO should review the vote in General Assembly based on the proportional approach so that categories of membership have the same criteria without considering the numbers of total membership, that may lead to more balanced representation from every interest.
